As Dennis Romero just reported in the Weekly's news blog, today the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved health-department letter grades for food trucks. This will allow the Nathaniel Hawthorne approach (newly adopted in New York City) to extend from brick-and-mortar restaurants to mobile eateries. The five-member board voted 5-0, with a second vote required within 30 days to make the grading system law in L.A. County.
