L.A. Luxury Chocolate Salon This Sunday in Pasadena
Car freaks have the Auto Show. Comic fans get their Con. Even Trekkies have their own gatherings. But this weekend friends of the cacao bean have their day in the sun at the Los Angeles Luxury Chocolate Salon.

This Sunday, October 10th at the Pasadena Center, chocolatiers and those who love them will gather to sample some of the most finely-crafted chocolate confections our area has to offer. Beyond just Best Dark and Best Milk, awards will be given out in categories such as Most Delicious Ingredient Combinations, Most Luxurious Chocolate Experience, and Best Comfort Chocolate Product. Squid Ink editor Amy Scattergood served as a judge last year and said, "I was sick for three days afterward, but it was worth it."
Wine pairings will also be available to sip while you peruse.
Advance purchase tickets are available - $20 for adults and $10 for children between 6 and 12 (those under 6 are free) - on the event's website, or can be purchased at the door for $25.
