Mexican Coke: A Myth?

• Hipsters Yes, but look at wine is it hip, frankly many countries use regular sugar, so its not a matter of being hip, I agree price is not a factor but many gourmet shops that don't use natural or premium ingredients charge more too, if something is tastier and rare it will go up in price, caviar for instance was considered a poor man's food no big deal but its rare so its pricey, tariffs make regular sugar more expensive in the US and subsidies, Evian water is horrible, poland spring is great, and really original .

• "Foodies" flocking to something because someone said they should? I'm going to think about that one. By the way, did you hear that this sea salt tastes better than that sea salt, that $500 sushi is roughly ten times better than $50 sushi, even though under U. S. law both must be made from frozen fish, and that bottled water is better than the stuff from the tap -- i.e., the fact that Evian is Con spelled backwards is just a coincidence? I've always thought that Mexican Coke is slightly better than U. S. Coke, but that's probably because the local ingredients in their syrup formulation are slightly more to my liking. Both are much too sweet, and neither has the great taste that persuaded me at age 11 to show off by drinking a 24 of small Cokes at the summer picnic in my West Texas home town.
