Guzzle & Nosh
Caviar at Petrossian.
Now that Ben Bailly has left Petrossian to revamp the Culver City Fraiche (which just began serving Sunday brunch yesterday), the West Hollywood caviar hub has brought in Giselle Wellman as executive chef.

Formerly of Bouchon Beverly Hills, Jack's La Jolla and Mario Batali's Del Posto in NYC, Wellman's new lunch and dinner menus launch this week. Look for new dishes like cauliflower soup topped with caviar ($12), smoked sturgeon risotto ($22) and striped bass Yukon with gold potato noodles, vodka crème fraîche, chives and caviar ($28).

Mondette has the scoop on chef Shunji Nakao, formerly of Santa Monica's Tengu, who will open his namesake restaurant, Shunji's, at 7015 Melrose Ave.

It will be a high-end ($$$$ -- according to its Facebook page), seafood-focused Japanese restaurant.
