I Heart Pies Pops Up at Eagle Rock Brewery

We've already raved about the little tin of heaven that is the peanut butter s'more pie from I Heart Pies. Now, baker Emily Cofrancesco, her husband Nick and their adorable octopus mascot will be popping up this Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. at Eagle Rock Brewery.
Pie and beer? Sounds like a perfect English breakfast.
I Heart Pies will be offering savory pies, like roasted pork with tomatillo and lamb with apples braised in Eagle Rock's Solidarity Brew. Because when you're not drinking your pie in your milkshake, you should be eating your beer in a pie.
They'll also have sweet holiday-themed pies, including orange chocolate mousse, cranberry meringue and a local persimmon meringue.
Their full complement of fall/winter pies -- apple, pumpkin, pecan, the aforementioned peanut butter s'mores (good in any season, really) -- is available online, where they just introduced their Pie of the Month Club. Even Groucho Marx might join that one.
