Since the hepatitis scare at Jerry's Famous Deli in Westwood last month, specifically on Nov. 18, 21, 23 and 24, many of us have been weary of our restaurant choices. And some of us are getting hepatitis A vaccinations or immune globulin shots. If you were exposed, "shots must be received within 14 days of exposure in order to reduce or prevent illness," according to an L.A. County Public Health Department press release.

Sure, we can't predict the future, but the health department luckily gives us a heads up on all food spots (including health food stores, all-natural bakeries, and gourmet eateries) that have been shut down for "imminent health hazards to public health or safety" and other beauts of the sort. Turn the page for a list of November closures and a few reopenings.
