Erica McLean to Flying Pig Owner: He Knew Food Truck Was Being Used in a Porno

Guzzle & Nosh
The accusations keep flying in the debacle over the Flying Pink Pig, a porn movie shot on the Flying Pig taco truck. This week, the conflict officially went legal, just as Flying Pig owner Joe Kim had been threatening when we last spoke to him. Kim sent distributor Metro Home Video a cease-and-desist letter, trying to halt the film's DVD release on January 24th, reports TMZ.

Kim told us he was duped into allowing his truck to be used to for a porn film. "I was told by one of my ex-employees that this company wanted to use our truck as the background for their romantic movie," he says.

But Flying Pink Pig director Erica McLean says that's a load of bull. We managed to get hold of McLean who tells us...

"I think it's a misunderstanding. Actually, it's not a misunderstanding. I think he knew full well. There's a signed release and emails going back and forth."

She referred all further questions about the legal drama to her lawyer, who hasn't returned our calls.

The news about the film, which as far as we know is the first food truck-themed porno in cinema history, broke the same day Kim finalized a lease to open his first brick-and-mortar restaurant, the Flying Pig Café, which he plans to open in Little Tokyo by the end of February. The 50-seat eatery will serve an expanded menu of the same fusion tacos served on the truck. Kim worries that the XXX content of The Flying Pink Pig will sour the fortunes of The Flying Pig, both of which feature the same pink color scheme and similar logos of a pig with wings.

The movie reportedly features Nikki Hunter in a double-penetration scene on the taco truck's counters. McLean's standing her ground and as far as she knows, the film's release will continue next week as planned.

"I didn't mean it to cause any problems," McLean says. "I just wanted to make a happy fun film and that's what this was."
