The Foundry Hosts Top Chef Casting Call
The Foundry on Melrose will be ground zero for celebrity chef wannabes as the restaurant hosts a casting call for Top Chef on Monday, March 14th between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The casting call is double duty. Producers will be looking both for season 9 contestants as well as pastry chefs for season 2 of Top Chef: Just Desserts. Interested parties should get a load of the whopping 25-page application. Not only that, an accompanying photo and 5-minute DVD including a cooking and plating demonstration is required as well.
As they wait in line, potential contestants will likely catch a glimpse of executive chef and TV star Eric Greenspan. Though he's not working the event in an official capacity, he told us: "No one comes into The Foundry without talking to me."
