[Updated] Lindy & Grundy to Open Tomorrow (Probably)
Update: Just spoke with Erika Nakamura who tells us they've had a small setback and will not be opening tomorrow. No word yet on a confirmed opening date.
Guzzle & Nosh Lindy & Grundy (a.k.a. Amelia Posada and Erika Nakamura) along with their Fairfax Ave. storefront.
New wave butcher shop Lindy & Grundy is finally on the verge of opening, probably tomorrow, though we're told they have one more inspection to pass. Keep your fingers crossed.
We've been following Amelia Posada and Erika Nakamura (Who's Lindy and who's Grundy? We're still not sure.) since the newbie butchers (and former vegans) finished interning at Fleisher's, got married and drove across the country to open their own butcher shop specializing in locally produced, sustainable meat. At last, that dream is on the verge of becoming reality.
