Flavor Flav's Fried Chicken Joint Closes

flavorflav01.jpg
Flavor Flav's no Colonel Sanders, it turns out. In January, the clock-wearing, Brigitte Nielsen-dating rapper opened Flav's Fried Chicken in (where else?) Clinton, Iowa. It was planned as the first outpost of an empire, but a mere three months after its opening, Flav's Fried Chicken is closing its doors.

According to the Associated Press, Flav's got a beef (ahem...) with the restaurant's manager, Nick Cimino, and tells WQAD-TV that he's pulling a license because Cimino "isn't running the business right."

Some former employees had complained they were not paid.

Cimino told the station Flav was "a fraud" who was trying to get rich off of his ideas and work.

Well, it's not as if the USA is in dire need of yet another food joint of the "fast" variety.

I expect the economy to continue its descent, likely permanently due to the multitude of economic changes in the USA AND the world.

Expect an ever-increasing tightening of the "money belt" as fewer folks will be able to afford outside-the-shanty/tent/van/cardboard box/homeless shelter meals and rely upon the most basic foods and what can be gleaned from within dumpsters.

Your statement is oddly ironic, because I live near the former Flav's Fried Chicken and noticed that the dumpster behind the establishment is now filled with days old raw chicken.
