Mohawk Bend Opening June 28th
The much delayed Mohawk Bend, the new Echo Park restaurant and beer bar whose "dork" burger (duck + pork) we previewed back in March, will finally open on June 28th. Fittingly for local beer baron Tony Yanow (Tony's Darts Away), there will be a whopping 65 beers on tap. Executive chefs Randal St. Clair and Sera Pelle go local with the menu, which is 60% vegan. Look for fire-roasted veggies, cazuelas, Spanish-style frittatas, crab rolls, gluten-free pizzas and more.
