Food Network Star Casting in Burbank This Friday
It feels like the Food Network has more stars than the Milky Way these days, but that's not stopping them from rolling out another round of their mega-hit Food Network Star. Though Season 7 just wrapped last week, they're already holding a Season 8 casting call in L.A. on Friday, August 26th.

Everyone's invited to try out: chefs, line cooks, home cooks, caterers and even "culinary enthusiasts." But if you don't want to piss off judge Bobby Flay, remember one thing:
"Don't even show up unless you really know how to cook," He told us in a recent interview. "That to me, as a chef and as one of the judges, is the most important thing. If you can't cook, I'm not going to let you go far."
Interested parties who don't fear the wrath of Flay should head over to the Marriott Burbank Airport hotel between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. For more information on what to bring and who to ask for, click here.
