GOOD Food Festival: Events Overview
The GOOD Food Festival kicks off today and runs through Sunday, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Santa Monica Farmers Market, not the anniversary of our favorite food-based radio show.

The four-day festival includes a film screening, several symposiums, a trade show, a gala reception, a street festival and more. Here's the full list of events or you can look at a few selections we've curated after the jump.
The Harvest (La Cosecha) screening
This documentary offers an unvarnished look at child and migrant labor in the United States' food system. Followed by a panel discussion about related labor issues.

Food Policy and Public Health Summit
A day of discussions about food, public health, and public policy. Speakers include Chipotle founder and CEO, Steve Ells; California Endowment CEO, Dr. Robert K. Ross; LA Food Policy Council's Paula Daniels and many others.

Two amazing days of exhibits with family farmers and artisanal food producers, demos from various LA chefs, food from street vendors that source from the Santa Monica farmers market.
