Goodie Girls: Cupcake Wars Winner Annette Starbuck to Open L.A. Store

Los Angeles needs another cupcake shop like we need another stretch Humvee limo, but they keep littering the city, all the same. Goodie Girls, the first storefront from Cupcake Wars winner Annette Starbuck, opens November 20th in Glendale. She'll be offering over a dozen flavors including her signature variety, Pumpkin Pancakes, and her Cake Ups push pops.

The first 75 attendees who show up to the grand opening party (5-8 p.m., Nov. 20), will get a free Cake Up and a goodie bag.

Goodie Girls: 415 East Broadway #100, Glendale.

Seriously, if you're going to be announcing a Grand Opening, at least be respectful! Seems like a blase, boring announcement if you ask me! Congrats to Goodie Girls and all your hard work. I hope you have a full house - despite this ho-hum announcement!

Rude opening line.  Someone is tired of their job and a little mean and grouchy.  Maybe she needs to frequent one of those many cupcake stores and sweeten up her attitude a little.

You have to realize, most of the people who write for these "alternative" newspapers have no experience running a business, meeting a payroll, satisfying customer demand, or doing anything other than having (often uninformed) opinions. Next stop: House or Senate.
