The U.S. has a president whose qualifications no one can recall but who increased the national debt by 50% -- $5 trillion -- in less than three years in office. The interest payments alone are enough to bust the economy. And everyone knows that Europe has long wallowed in the splendor of endless entitlements. Those will continue to drop off, however, as the 1% that foots the bill for everything continues emigrating to Monaco, the Caribbean, and other tax-friendly places for relief. But we'll be OK if we can convince Russia and China to not take advantage of our time of weakness.
