Matt Barkley Loves In-N-Out, Not Five Guys

After actor Jason Segel launched last week's short-lived but brutal sandwich vs. burrito war (Segel's a staunch sandwich man), USC quarterback (though maybe not for long if he goes pro) Matt Barkley (@mattbarkley) launched a Twitter food fight. Though the junior QB has remained mum about not being selected among this year's Heisman finalists, he wasn't shy about getting into the In-N-Out vs. Five Guys Burgers & Fries debate. First, Barkley asks an innocent question.

Then he admits his bias.

Then he pays tribute to Tommy's and to history.

Then he re-Tweets this inscrutable and stupid analogy. (When the Westwood outpost of the rapidly expanding Five Guys chain opens, it will at least make geographical sense.)

Finally, he passes judgment.

We don't have a dog in this fight, but to those who want to get into the middle of the In-N-Out vs. Five Guys burger debate, we say: Fight On.
