This LA Weekly Flickr pool photo, taken by photographer Darin Dines, comes from the latest incarnation of LudoBites. (We're on number 8 if you've lost count.) It's a ramekin of uni crème brûlée, a very neat trick variation on the bistro classic. LudoBites 8, at Lemon Moon in Santa Monica, started a few days ago and is of course sold out, although don't despair -- you can walk in and get a seat at the bar or outside on the patio. And a reminder that if you have any brilliant shots of food you've taken around town recently, you might consider uploading them on our Flickr pool. Never know where they might show up.
