Got Kosher? Reopens as Cafe

Got Kosher?: Interior

After many, many months of renovations, popular Kosher Corridor catering and takeout vendor Got Kosher? Provisions reopened on Monday as Got Kosher? Cafe.

Expanding into the shuttered mailing supplies store next door, the rebuilt space now features a dozen or so tables, including a few outside, and a new menu.

In addition to its assortment of kosher and pareve breads and baked goods (like a non-dairy "cheesecake" made with tofu), the lunch menu now includes sandwiches (merguez, shawarma, beef brisket, schnitzel, eggplant panini and Tunisian tuna), salads and soups. The dinner includes Middle Eastern specialties like Tunisian couscous, various tajines and shakshouka as well as lamb chops, a ribeye steak and artichoke beignets. It's BYOW (kosher mevushal only, natch), and the corkage fee is $10. Mazel tov.

Mailing/box supply store still there, on the corner. GK took over a space previously occupied by, I think, some sort of jewelry repair shop or something.
