Tequila maker Sofia Partida is bringing her handcrafted Partida margaritas to Border Grill for a special tasting menu -- courses include an oyster shooter with Margarita Pomela Espumosa (Partida blanco, grapefruit granita and sparkling wine), and caramelized apricot and goat cheese with Dama Dulce (Partida blanco, sherry, mezcal rinse, agave and Peychaud's bitters). Burrito Babes Inaugural Burrito Eating Contest
Burrito Babes will debut its "Mixican" style burritos (ingredients are "mixed" beforehand) with a burrito-eating contest. Burrito Babes is not a restaurant per se, but an organization that supports non-profits with burrito sales. Half of the proceeds from the contest will benefit the Westside Food Bank.

Taste nearly 200 wines from about 100 wineries at Wally's Wine. (Visit the website to see who's slated to appear.) Admission includes bread and cheese; hot dogs, sliders, ribs and skewers from Let's Be Frank and T's California BBQ will be on hand too.

Route 66 Food Truck Festival
Expect Devilicious, George's Greek Truck, Mangia Mangia Mobile, Me So Hungry, Pogi Boy, Rolling Sushi, Bacon Mania Truck, Chunk-n-Chip Cookies, Coolhaus, India Jones, Suite 106 Cupcakery, Waffles de Liege, Where's the Fire Gourmet Pizza, and the Red Robin Yummm Mobile at this San Bernardino event. There will also be a beer garden, and some event proceeds will benefit The Symphonie Jeunesse.
