Star Wars Light-Up Lightsaber Chopsticks: The Force Is Stronger with This One
"Not as clumsy or random as a blaster. An elegant weapon for a more civilized age," Obi-Wan Kenobi said, introducing Luke Skywalker to the lightsaber, the Jedi's weapon of choice. Which brings us to Kotobukiya's line of Star Wars Lightsaber Chopsticks, not as clumsy or random as a spork, an elegant utensil, if you will, for a more civilized eating age. Unlike the real lightsabers in the fictional Star Wars universe, however, the original version of these chopsticks did not light up. This was, in the word of Kotobukiya, a "fail."

Thus, we have a new version of the chopsticks, which improves on the original with LED lights -- red for the Darth Vader version and blue for Luke Skywalker's -- that will illuminate the chopsticks as you eat, just as lightsabers do when you prepare for battle, deflect blaster fire or slice open tauntauns. Version 2.0 of these chopsticks are about $23 and are available for pre-order; they'll ship in November, just in time to help you elegantly attack that Thanksgiving turkey.
