Cafecito Organico Now Offering Monthly Coffee Classes
A few weeks ago, we suggested a few workshops where you can learn all about coffee -- roasting, brewing, tasting and so on -- and now we have yet one more class to add: This week, Cafecito Organico will host one-hour tasting classes focused specifically on comparing and contrasting several different coffees from Guatemala. For those of you who have ever wondered how beans grown in one part of a country may be wholly distinct from coffee grown in another region of that same country, this is the class for you. 
A. Scattergood Coffee at Cafecito Organico
During the class, coffee will be brewed using both a Clever Dripper and a steel coffee dripper, so you'll also have a chance to taste the difference that brew method makes.
The first of this monthly workshop will be at Cafecito's Malibu location today (Wednesday) at 1 p.m. Another class will be offered at its Costa Mesa location on Thursday at 6 p.m., and Cafecito's East Hollywood cafe will hold its class on Friday at 6 p.m. Classes are $10, and you'll be sent home with a bag of coffee from your choice of region.
