Culver City! All Your Prayers Answered! Olive Garden Opens Today
Olive Garden, that purveyor of endless breadsticks and "Italian" cuisine, opens its 10th L.A.-area restaurant today, and the lucky winner of the unlimited soup and salad sweepstakes is Culver City!

Yes, today Olive Garden creeps closer to the heart of Los Angeles (until now, Glendale, Manhattan Beach and Downey have been the closest to the epicenter of town -- a location on Westwood Blvd closed a while back), with a brand new restaurant on Sepulveda Blvd. in Culver City.
What's that? Sepulveda in Culver City? Why, that's where the LA Weekly offices are!! Lucky us! A brand new lunch option! Hooray!! Until Nov. 18, we can also do this weird promotion they have, called "Dinner today and tomorrow," which takes the idea of leftovers to new heights. For $12.95 you can choose one of five entrees to eat at the restaurant, and another one of the five to take home for dinner tomorrow night.
$12.95 is pretty cheap for two entrees. They also serve things like fried bits of lasagna with alfredo sauce and cheese, and other various foodstuffs with creamy cheesy stuff on top.
