There are plenty of ways to celebrate the end of the year, and going out to dinner is certainly one of the best. Make a reservation while you can, put on your best party frocks and check out one of these options for your dining pleasure. 10. Pace:
Wind up Laurel Canyon and visit Pace for their four course holiday fete. 9. Bow & Truss:
Dine and dance at the Valley's of-the- moment hot spot. The Latin-themed menu includes choices such as bacon-wrapped lamb or blackened fish, among others. 11122 Magnolia Blvd., North Hollywood; (818) 985-8787.

8. Bestia:
Bestia will have an a la carte menu for early and late diners. They will serve up grilled octopus; steamed mussels; pasta stuffed with braised beef; pizzas and chestnut donuts, along with many other options from their Italian menu. 2121 E. 7th St. Los Angeles, CA 90021

7. Akasha will have their casually elegant farm-to-table dinner menu available along with several luck themed dishes for you to choose from. Whole roasted fish, Singapore Good Luck salad and more. 6. Church & State :
Ring in the New Year like a Frenchman/woman with confetti and Champagne at one of the two seatings at Church & State.
