Oysters at L&E

5. L&E Oyster Bar:
The restaurant usually does not take reservations, but they are required on NYE to ensure a seat. They will have their super-fresh, seafood-centric menu, with the addition of special oysters -- TBD -- and several sparkling wines. 637 Silver Lake Blvd., Los Angeles; (323) 660-2255.

4. Petrossian:

3. Little Door:

2. The Hart and the Hunter:
This newish gastropub is offering a $90 meal of blackened Dungeness crab and other seafood along with their side dishes served à la russe. Bottomless beer and sparkling wine are included.
