10 Great Restaurants Open New Year's Eve
|Soup at Eva|
Eva has two seatings as well, and after chef Mark Gold's recent stint at Noma we can't wait to see what comes out of the kitchen. The earlier $69, four-course menu includes Japanese kampachi, charred cucumber and "whipped" tofu; John Dory, peas and almond brown butter; or Wagyu beef, charred onion and sauce Bordelaise. The $99 later menu will be straight from Norway: pheasant with matsutake mushrooms; and dry aged prime beef, sour onion, meat jus and turnip. 7458 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles; (323) 634-0700.
