You might have already heard the news: LAX's Tom Bradley Terminal is getting a huge $80-million retail makeover in 2014, with over 60 new restaurants and shops being added.

International travelers will be able to sample the flavors of L.A. with out ever leaving the international terminal (reminiscent of the 2004 Tom Hanks' film of the same name).

At an unveiling at LAX on Wednesday, the shopping mall mega-conglomerate Westfield teamed up with Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa to unveil the new plans, which include eateries such as Umami Burger, 800 Degrees Pizzeria, ink.sack, Border Grill, LAMill, Larder at Tavern, Chaya, Sushi Roku, Short Cake, James Beach, Marmalade Cafe, and Petrossian Caviar & Champagne Bar.

After Villaraigosa's announcement, he stressed the importance of having "local flavor" at the airport, and admitted that he "think[s] of himself as a 'foodie.'"
