This being Venice, Feed is primarily focused on healthful eating. There are smoothies. There are a lot of organics. The restaurant says they are offering "sustainable, organic, locally sourced product that promotes the health and well being of our guests."
There's also a giant French rotisserie where much of this healthful cooking will take place.
It's also no surprise that design is an important element, seeing as the place is owned by a designer. The interior walls are painted by artist CRYPTIK, and the press materials say they are "bathed" in hand-painted murals.
Cocktails are by Marcos Tello, formerly of the Varnish, 7 Grand and 1886. He'll work behind a giant "Siberian Lynx Italian marble" bar, which sure sounds impressive. As with the other items at Feed, cocktails will be organic-leaning.
The restaurant opens today for breakfast and lunch, and will open next Monday for dinner.
