Pann's fried chicken wings
1. Pann's:
On your way to and from LAX, you may have passed the Googie-styled Pann's Restaurant on the corners of La Tijera and La Cienega. The fried chicken wings at Pann's come standing tall and proud in full regalia -- the wing, drumette and winglet all attached. Perched atop of a Belgian waffle, majestic and fried to a golden brown, you can taste a blend of pepper and seasoning salt that would make Lawry's proud. Please remember to breathe in between your moments of wing worship. 6710 La Tijera Blvd., Los Angeles; (310) 670-1441.

Best Chicken Wings that I have yet to date in L.A. was actually from a food truck called Belly Bombz. Their Asian Style wings were crrispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Variety of Asian sauces like Firecracker and Soy Caramel were bomb! I've had Kyochon before and I liked Belly Bombz a lot better (Kyochon's wings were too tiny for my taste...)

The sesame wings at Feast from the East in Westwood are the best!

Best wings in Los Angeles are at Kyochon hands down! Why? Antibiotic/hormone free chicken raised on sustainable farms and taste better than any of those crappy places you guys mentioned. I've had all these wings and they are nasty compared to Kyochon and the one I go to is on 6th Street in K-Town, just minutes from L.A. Weekly. I mean Big Wangs?! WTF that place has some of the nastiest wings ever and on top of that they use crappy chicken.

Yum! I love the coverage of unincorporated wings!

The best I've found on the Westside by a mile are the BB Wings at BBQ Chicken on LeConte in Westwood. They're dry spiced -- like the best Popeye's spicy you've ever had -- and always juicy. The Teri-Q wings are also great.

PS: Look for "lolipop chicken" on Indian menus. These spicy fried chicken wings are a staple of Indian-Chinese food.

@Bigmouth Speaking of Indian-Chinese have you had Tangy Tomato in Artesia?

Jitlada makes amazing Thai wings, btw.
