The chefs will demonstrate how to make Border Bloody Maria; guava empanada; heirloom bean and bacon tostada; Peruvian shrimp and grits; and La Bomba rice pudding.

Santa Monica's Official St. Paddy's Day Bar Crawl
The "official" St. Patrick's Day Bar Crawl in Santa Monica starts with registration at Barney's Beanery, where you'll receive a wristband, a cup and a map with drink specials and corresponding times. Participating venues include Ye Olde King's Head and the Britannia.

Hear a panel of coffee insiders -- Alexandra Katona-Carroll (Coffee Quality Institute), Angel Orozco (Cafecito Orgánico), Jay Ruskey (Good Land Organics), and Peter Giuliano (Specialty Coffee Association of America) -- on what goes into your coffee, from seed to roasted bean, at the Mark Taper Auditorium. Cafecito Orgánico will provide a prepanel coffee tasting.

Temecula Valley Wine Country Tour
The Temecula wine-tasting tour starts with a 90-minute ride from Hollywood to Riverside County. Once in Temecula, there will be a tour of three wineries, followed by a wine tasting (fees not included) with options from more than 30 wineries. Afterward, there is a two-hour window of exploration in one's choice of Old Town Temecula or Pechanga Casino.
