21-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Three-Vehicle Collision near Highway 155

BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 24, 2024) – Jaqueline Orosco died Saturday night in a multi-car accident on Highway 65.

At approximately 4:57 p.m. on April 13th, the crash occurred just south of Highway 155. Orosco was driving a Toyota northbound on the freeway when a Ford driver, traveling in the opposite direction, swerved into the oncoming lanes, colliding with the left side of the Toyota.

The impact also involved a nearby Honda. There, Orosco, aged 21, succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene. Emergency responders swiftly transported the other occupants of the Honda and Toyota to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Further details regarding the Highway 65 multi-vehicle crash have not yet been disclosed to the public. Updates will be provided by the Bakersfield Police Department when available.
