Meet the USB Powered Chainsaw: Cut Wood While Updating Your Facebook
Boss got you thirsty for blood? Need a way to cut trees while still remaining active on Digg? Really into bringing weapons to the office? Attention Dwight Schrute -- we know what you're getting for Christmas...
Meet the iSaw, the world's first USB powered chainsaw. Yes, you read that right. Lamenting that "current materials used on bodies of chainsaws are too heavy for office use" the vanguards of innovation over at www.usbchainsaw.com figured out how to get a USB 2.0 port to power sharp chains for all your office-based wood cutting needs.

Accoring to the USB die-hards over at EverythingUSB.com the "chainsaw possibly opens a whole new category of USB weaponry tools." And warms the heart of geeky lumberjacks everywhere. Some stats from the official site:
"Operating Environment: Home and office use"
"Approximate weight: 8.2 lbs" (Like a baby!) And yes, it's both Mac and PC compatible.

And no way in hell will any sort of legitimate chainsaw will be powered by 2 USB 2.0 Ports.

I find it funny that it's an environmental hoax to try stop people from printing so much, and at the bottom of their website there is a print option! Genius!
Damn hippies!
Posted On: Friday, Jul. 10 2009 @ 2:29AMYou do realize it isn't a real product but an environmental impact of printing statement....

Posted On: Friday, Jul. 17 2009 @ 12:23AMUSB connections only deliver 5 volts of power.
I don't think USB connections can deliver enough power to run the saw's motor fast and powerful enough to cut wood.
Why bother making it compatible with Macs? Everybody knows only PC users are man enough to use chainsaws.
