26-Year-Old Rider Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near Effie Street

FRESNO, CA (May 8, 2024) Adam Andrew Garza died Friday afternoon, in a motorcycle collision on McKinley and Effie Street. Police officers responded to the scene around 1:00 p.m., on May 3rd.

According to investigators, Garza was traveling eastbound on McKinley aboard a Yamaha Sport Bike. A northbound truck driver veered into the motorcycle’s path, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles. Onlookers rushed to aid Garza by administering CPR until law enforcement arrived.

Emergency responders transported the 26-year-old to a nearby hospital, where he passed away due to his injuries.

In the meantime, the truck driver stayed at the scene and collaborated with authorities. An ongoing investigation seeks to uncover additional details surrounding the incident.

The loved ones of Garza set up a GoFundMe page to help with costs during this time.
