Aquarium Drunkard/Autumn Tone Preps Release of 'Ram in LA,' a Cali Tribute to McCartney's Classic

The best cover version we've heard this year is, by far, the Radar Bros.' version of Paul McCartney's "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey," which you'll soon be able to hear courtesy of Autumn Tone Records, home to both Le Switch (who continue their residency at Spaceland tonight) and the Henry Clay People. The Bros. version of "Uncle Albert" is from the fascinating new RAM in LA, a tribute to Sir Paul's 1971 album, Ram, that Autumn Tone brainchilds Justin Gage and Scott Simoneaux built from the ground up with help from LA-based bands. The record will be available as a free download shortly -- and we'll let you know when it comes out. Click on for the tracklist ....
