It's been nearly four years since Def Jux rapper Cage (a.k.a Chris Palko) released Hell's Winter in 2005 and bowled over audiences and critics alike with his loved or hated (but never ignored) rhymes. After a long and loyal wait, Cage fans can look forward to the highly anticipated followup LP, Depart From Me, set for release June 30th on Definitive Jux Records.
In the meantime, here's some Cage news you can already taste - this weekend Cage will be shooting a new music video for Depart From Me in Los Angeles and has invited L.A.-based Cage fans to become part of the experience. Here's the word straight from Def Jux:

Cage will be shooting the first video from his upcoming full length album Depart From Me this weekend in Los Angeles and we are opening it up for a limited number of Cage fans in the LA area!
The shoot is slated for Sunday, February 22nd (that's this Sunday) and if you would like to participate please send an email to RSVP@definitivejux.net. If you are one the first 300 people to respond you will receive further details in an auto-generated response with exact times and location.
Please respond only if you are serious about being in attendance and are willing to put in 3-4 hours of your time. You will need to bring a valid and legal photo ID to the shoot. Anyone who is not on the RSVP list will not be allowed on set. Dress to impress! Wardrobe details as well as location and call time will be sent in our response to your RSVP.
