Silversun Pickups Debut New Video for "Substitution" on MTV
It hasn't even been a full week, but the fallout from the VMA Kanyegate has finally dissipated. He was caught on cable, tried on Twitter, and sentenced to an awkward interview with Jay "the Chin" Leno. So what does that mean for us, the average media consumer? We can watch MTV again! Finally, we can take the time to valiantly search for music videos, which have more likelyhood of appearing during a commercial, rather than a show. So somewhere on MTV, the new video for "Substitution" by Silversun Pickups will debut in all of its glory. Directed by The Malloys, the video features the hottest musical chairs action this side of the Kardashian family picnic. The real victory in the video is Nikki Monninger faithful devotion to her Skullphone guitar/bass strap. Gotta get me one!
