Kanye West removed his Spike Jonze-directed mini-movie, We Were Once a Fairytale from his website Monday, but today, a bizarre trending topic rose to the top of Twitter: RIP Kanye West. But the rapper isn't dead. So tweets his girlfriend Amber Rose: "This 'RIP KanyeWest' topic is not funny and its NOT TRUE! He has people like myself and his family that love him very much."
Is this a response to his taking down the video? Do people think he really committed seppuku to let out a tummy demonbeast? Is this a mass social protest against the ever-rolling eulogy that Twitter has become?
