Jessica 6 (Hercules and Love Affair) Bombard LA w/ 4.5 Shows (+Mp3s)
Hercules and Love Affair's sleek electro-disco anthems never ceased to be suitable soundtracks for runway walking, price tag checking, or idly dancing at some Euro-ish one-off party for some new artisan water. Or something. Now as the pared down Jessica 6, featuring H&LA's vocalist/songwriter Nomi Ruiz, Andrew Raposo on bass and Morgan Wiley on keyboards, the "dark disco" aficionados spend a few late nights in L.A. to spread the moody dance sounds of upcoming full-length, out early 2010. Their Fun Girls Remix EP dropped a few months back and the trio may indulge LA's audiences with their reconstituted jams.
