The third annual
MusInk Tattoo & Music Festival took place Friday-Saturday at the OC Fairgrounds, featuring over 300 of the world's best tattoo artists, skaters like Tony Alva, Christian Hosoi and Mike Vallely, plus performances by bands the Cult, the Buzzcocks, the Damned and more. Saturday night, Culver City's LeBasse Projects unveiled "Deva Loka," the
latest collection from Yoshitaka Amano. Beloved for his character designs for
Final Fantasy and
Vampire Hunter D, Amano worked with auto paint and metallic glitter on this series of paintings. Joining him was local Yoskay Yamamoto, who debuted his largest installation yet, "Tell Me a Story..." in the gallery's project room. Check out more photos in

Insomniac's Awakening went down on Saturday night to a sold out house at The Palladium. The
