New Lil Wayne + Eminem Video: 'Drop the World'
Lil Wayne said goodbye to the outside world before his little time out by dropping a new video for the Rebirth track "Drop the World."
While the song is not among Weezy's best and the video is boilerplate "Escape From New York," streets-are-mean-and-gritty fare, you do wanna watch it for the simple reason that Eminem drops by 2 minutes into it and it makes it worth it.
Em starts slow, but right before you can write it off as another slightly disappointing intervention by the former Great White Hope, boooooom! and his tongue-twising flow starts speeding up in that inimitable way and you remember why he was at the top of the game once and why he could be there again if his stars fall in place and his demons take a break.
