• I think it's very flattering Stephanie. If I were you, I wouldn't worry. BTW, I know from personal experience that photographers don't get to pick what get's in & what doesn't. They just take pix. The headline next to the photo of whom I now know is you, made me want to read on. That's the point of the blog...right? Get some balls & suck it up! You look great!

• Where exactly are you a journalist, Stephanie? At most of the publications I'm familiar with, the journalists, editors, and publishers have editorial control over the article - not the subject of the photograph. Since the quote in the article is "near" the picture of the two guys below yours, should that also be removed?

• Dear Melissa, specifically your photographer Shannon Cottrell, First of all, let me commend Chevy for hosting an amazing tailgate party at SXSWi this year, I had a wonderful time. Secondly, I have a serious bone to pick with you. Although I am extremely flattered you chose to take a picture of me and post it for your blog, I feel the image directly next to the headline could be extremely misleading. To be crystal clear, when photographer Cottrell showed me this photo I explicitly said, no, don't use this one, it's too "dirty-looking," please take another, which she was kind enough to oblige. My biggest issue here is not that the photo I didn't want posted was posted against my request, I may have even been willing to look past it entirely had it not been for the extremely suggestive headline just above it.... • (Part 2 of 2) .....You see, it's a basic design concept that items in closer proximity are related. So when the headline reads "I would sleep with him if I could," followed by a huge picture of me smoking my Rocky Patel Vintage 1990, people MAY get the wrong idea, ESPECIALLY since that quotation was not credited to anyone within the post! I don�t know who said it, and honestly I couldn�t decipher who this so-desired person was either. In any case, let it be known that the photo of the woman smoking the cigar is me, and I was NOT quoted saying �I would sleep with him if I could,� and requested for this particular picture to NOT be posted. As a journalist, I am extremely disappointed at the sensationalistic approach and lack of ethics with poor journalistic quality.
