Pitchfok TV has just premiered the new video for the upcoming second album by She & Him, the collaboration between M. Ward and "America's AlternaSweetheart" (ok, "The Blue States' Favorite Manic Pixie Dream Girl") Zooey Deschanel.

She & Him's soberly titled Volume Two will be released March 23 by Merge. The video has a vaguely John Hughesish wholesome high school vibe, with our Zooey doing her usual thing: looking prim, a bit bored, and making nonchalant faces while she twirls and hula-hoops in a sensible outfit. Gentle svengali M. Ward plays a short Byrdsie solo near the end of this frothy pop ditty.
Actually, it's like the Mormon version of Britney Spear's "Hit Me Baby One More Time" video!
