Courtney Love Covers Obscure Leonard Cohen Song
We have it on pretty good authority that when she was a young lass Courtney Love hated traditional rock'n'roll (including the Stones) and was obsessed with two things: Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks and ... Leonard Cohen.

Well, she seems to have come around to the rock thing (she's been doing Sympathy for the Devil as a kind of theme song and she did a cover of Play With Fire at the Fonda a couple of weeks ago), but the dual fascination with the One-nostriled Bescarfed Diva and the Marquise of Morose seems to continue.
So much so that during her UK tour, Courtney just unveiled a strange cover of Cohen's "Take This Longing," a deep album cut that marks her as the die-hard Cohen geek few know she is.
