FREE Weezer Song to Celebrate the World Cup
Consequence of Sound reports that Weezer has joined R. Kelly in providing a theme song for the soccer World Cup.
Unlike Kells, Rivers Cuomo and his crew have not been officially assigned the task by FIFA: they're doing it on spec and they're giving it away FOR FREE.
Go to the iTunes Store and search "Weezer Represent" to download "Represent" (which, as Consequence of Sound points out) is mysteriously reminiscent of Cutting Crew's '80s jam "I Just Died in Your Arms."
