Ooah, Boreta and edIT are The Glitch Mob, a local synth-heavy DJ posse from the underground electronic Low End Theory scene. Their self-released debut album Drink the Sea came out this past May. The band set loose a free mixtape last week through XLR8R podcast.

Following their US tour and on the brink of their European tour, the mixtape is said to feature some of the music that's been inspiring them. According to XLR8R,

Much like the group's live set, the podcast weaves through a number of different styles and artists, all unified by one dominant trait--the presence of an infectious beat.

Check out the free mixtape here.

Per popular request, edIT's "Pound for Pound" is also up for grabs, which originally aired in their 2009 Low End Theory podcast.
