Paul the Psychic Octopus (aka "El Pulpo Paul") Celebrates Retirement With New, Super Catchy Theme Song

​Gawker reports that German aquarium authorities have announced that World Cup psychic octopus Paul (also known by its endearing Spanish sobriquet "El Pulpo Paul") has now retired from the soccer-fortune-telling business and will return to his former job of "making children laugh."

He's left us with fond memories of his "8-for-8" record of foretelling the results of Germany's matches, as well as the World Cup final. He's also left us with an amazing, incredibly catchy theme song, composed by prolific Youtube sensation Parry Gripp.
