Crazy Ladies in Bizarro L.A.: Fol Chen Gets Weird in New Video, Announces Echo Residency
The Highland Park's glitch-pop outfit Fol Chen has been getting some pretty good national press lately, but that hasn't stopped them from fully embracing the weird. Their newest video for "The Holograms" surely signals that someone, or everyone, in Fol Chen has lost their minds. 
In that good way, of course. The video, directed by Keith Musil (who made that dual cat duel for Hecuba) with phenomenal photographer Ryan Schude, explores a bizarro Los Angeles populated with irritable, possibly murderous ladies and seeped in that yolky glow of dreams. Most of these soon-to-be-cat-ladies are played by Isabelle Albuquerque of Hecuba, whose alter egos mesh well with this ominous world Musil creates.
