A much less momentous version of Wikileaks has interfered with the mysterious selection process for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Website Hits Daily Double apparently got hold of the list of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees for 2011 a few days early (the official announcement is tomorrow). Word is: Neil Diamond is in, Bon Jovi are not. Check out the Rock-a-leaks:
According to the report, the class of 2011 will include Neil Diamond, Alice Cooper, Tom Waits, Dr. John and Darlene Love.
Passed over, according to the leak, were Laura Nyro, Bon Jovi,Beastie Boys, Donovan, Chic, LL Cool J, Laura Nyro, Donna Summer, Joe Tex and Chuck Willis.
We'll have to see tomorrow if this Julian Assange of aging rock fans delivered the goods or not.
