Snoop Dogg To Texas Sheriff Who Arrested Willie Nelson For Six Ounces Of Weed: 'Leave Willie The Fuck Alone!'

This time, though, he's not speaking for himself. Not even Prop. 19. Last night, it was country-music legend and "Dukes of Hazzard" sell-out Willie Nelson whose back Snoop had. And he had it hard.

If the sweet castle gig at Prince William's bachelor party isn't enough to fund his stash, this LBC native should really consider prosecution. He's got a pretty dank argument for Nelson, who was arrested 85 miles east of El Paso for possession of marijuana on Nov. 26.

"Willie Nelson's a legend, man," Snoop says to a TMZ cameraman. "Listen: Sometimes you gotta back up off certain people and have a certain amount of respect for your elders."

Amen, brother. We've had our "Free Willie" shirts on all week. And as proud residents of the medical-marijuana capital of the world, we've got some more legal advice for Willie:

Fake the pain. You're 77 years old, for Christ's sake, and fresh out the Golden State, where magical grass is an essential part of any healing regimen. You could probably even get Schwarzenegger to put in a good word.

Hudspeth County Sheriff Arvin West pulled over Nelson's tour bus on its way from California to his Texas ranch, then rummaged through nasty piles of tour shit after smelling something "suspicious." Predictably, the stink turned out to be six ounces of weed.

West told the El Paso Times:

"It's kind of surprising, but I mean we treat him like anybody else. He could get 180 days in county jail, which if he does, I'm going to make him cook and clean. He can wear the stripy uniforms just like the other ones do."

Here's what Snoop has to say to that power-trippin' redneck:

"You dumb motherfucker, you. You stupid motherfucker, you. What the fuck do you think you got out of arresting Willie Nelson? He got out, and he's back smoking right now."
