Is This the Best Description of the Black Eyed Peas Ever?

Veteran rock writer Marc Spitz just published a fairly nonsensical essay on the Vanity Fair blog about how watching the Black Eyed Peas at the Super Bowl (an event that hasn't happened yet) is gonna change his life and how they are as punk rock as the Village People and how he's gonna buy Taboo's upcoming autobiography (yes, Taboo has an autobiography--which hopefully will clarify what his actual role in the Black Eyed Peas is).

But Spitz's bizarre screed contains one sentence that to us is the best description of the Black Eyed Peas ever:

The Black Eyed Peas are "like the Two and a Half Men of pop music. You have no idea who is watching it, but you know millions of people are, and it troubles you."

(Actually, now that we think about it, they are more like a Two and a Half Men without Charlie Sheen: 2 Duckies and a Fembot, featuring, in some unclear capacity, future New York Times best-selling author Taboo.)
