Other rappers in L.A. make national television appearances, too, you know. The stage ain't big enough for two stars when Freddie Gibbs is on the bill, so NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly kept an appropriately low-key profile when they dropped by to film at the Troubadour last Wednesday (or maybe they were being respectful to Gibbs' mama, who was there watching his show live for the first time).
